This Fall, California metallers, SAVIOURS, will drop the molten fruits of their new full-length this Fall via a new partnership with France’s Listenable Records. Titled Palace Of Vision, their first full-length in four years was captured at Type Foundry in Portland, Oregon with the inimitable Billy Anderson (Neurosis, Brothers Of The Sonic Cloth, Eyehategod, Taurus, Ommadon etc.) and boasts nine tracks of SAVIOURS’ signature brand of towering riffs, colossal rhythms, infectious guitar harmonies and an obsession with the end of times, the occult, psychedelics and the arcane. “It’s a natural and logical continuation of where we left off with (2011) Death’s Procession,” said drummer Scott Batiste of the offering. “There are some doomy crushers and faster ragers.” As an added bonus, the record comes sheathed in the fittingly dark, intricately transfixing cover renderings of Derrick Snodgrass (Obliterations, Lecherous Gaze).

WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE OUR NEW RECORD DEAL WITH LISTENABLE RECORDS OF FRANCE. HERE'S THE OFFICIAL STATEMENT:

California's Saviours continue to forge ahead with towering riffs, colossal rhythm, monumental guitar harmonies and an obsession with the end of times, the occult, psychedelics and arcane. Still building upon the foundations laid by Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Thin Lizzy and Motörhead, Saviours enter their second decade in a new partnership with French label Listenable Records, preparing a new album for a fall 2015 release.  
 
The band comments: "We're very happy to finally announce our deal with Listenable. They're true supporters of what we do and have been a pleasure to work with thus far. Since last June we've been beating the new songs into submission and now it’s really starting to take shape and sound killer. There are some doomy crushers and faster ragers in the mix so it’s sounding like a natural and logical continuation of where we left off with Death's Procession. In March we'll play some West Coast shows then begin recording at Type Foundry in Portland with the inimitable Billy Anderson. Can't wait to get this new record out, it’s been too fucking long!"

SXSW / TOUR DATES MARCH 2012

Saviours return to the road in March for a trek out to South By Southwest in Austin, TX. Supporting Saviours on most of the shows is Holy Grail.

This tour follows Saviours’ marathon world touring of Fall 2011, which saw the band play almost four straight months’ worth of shows in North America and Europe, supporting the newest album, Death’s Procession (out now on Kemado Records).

Of Death’s Procession, Revolver Magazine proclaimed, “Classic heavy metal thunder, dedicated swagger, and almost-crisp production make this record a triumph for the Oakland quartet." A review of the album in Decibel Magazine declared, “This is their South of Heaven.”

The limited tour 12" EP's are going fast. There are two of them... 250 of each, screenprinted covers with art by Derrick Snodgrass. Each EP has one track from Death's Procession and another song that is not on the album. The Eye Obscene EP features "The Eye Obscene" on side A and a cover of NWOBHM classic "Come On Back" by Scotland's HOLOCAUST on side B. The Crete'n EP features "Crete'n" on side A and a proper version of "Dixie Dieway", which appeared in raw demo form on last years Metal Swim compilation.


It should be noted that the vinyl of Death's Procession had embossed covers for the first run. It will not be embossed again. We do have the embossed copies on tour with us.

About halfway through our US tour with WEEDEATER, BISON BC and FIGHT AMP. It has been great so far. Thanks much to all who have been coming out and supporting. Remaining confirmed tour dates for 2012 below... There will be more US shows when we return from Europe starting late November... NYC etc. we haven't forgotten about you.
