The tour with MIDNIGHT, LIGHTNING SWORDS OF DEATH and ARCHONS was awesome. Thanks to all who came out. We had a killer time and hope you did too. We will be entering LUCKY CAT RECORDING with Phil Manley to record our new album on June 4th. A release date as well as US and European tour dates in support of the release will come soon. There are a few one-off dates in the works in the US until then. Otherwise, we'll be busy throughout the summer working on some projects related to the new album.

MIDSUMMER UPDATE

- We've conquered Europe with our partners in crime Black Cobra and Weedeater. The tour was insane, the shows were great, we played a bunch of festivals and cool new places we hadn't been before, we got weird and it kicked ass. Many thanks to our fearless driver Brozak, Black Cobra, Weedeater, Avocado for booking the shit, Dominic and Division for doing press stuff and most importantly all the euromaniacs who came out a raged every night with us. It was simultaneously real and unreal, if that makes any sense.

- At the end of the tour we headed to Den Haag, Holland for a quick studio trip with Guy Tavares, who does the awesome Motorwolf label. Guy and engineer Hans tracked two new songs for us the old way- 16 track, 1" tape, no punch-ins, edits or automation. We recorded one new song and then a 21 minute "alternate" version of it, which will be mixed to full heavy psychedelic fruition by Guy over the next month and eventually included on an upcoming EP.

- Our only full US tour this year is rapidly approaching. Ozzfest should be insane and debaucherous and we're super excited for it, whatever it may entail! We've announced some pre-fest dates and some off-dates from the tour as well and we will be headlining a few select US cities on the way back from the east coast after Ozzfest. A few more dates will be announced soon.

SAVIOURS SPRING 2010 STATE OF THINGS, NEW TOUR DATES, ETC...

It's been a bit since the last update.... we're stoked on sunny California weather and a bunch of upcoming stuff. The past few months have been pretty cool too. The California shows with SAINT VITUS were super killer. It was fucking awesome to share the stage with those guys again and really inspiring to see a legendary band rise from the dead and be totally down to earth and devastatingly good live. If you have the chance to see them...do it!

The Japan tour was amazing... we did five shows and had four days off to check out Tokyo, which was super fucking cool. All of the bands that played were awesome and again really inspiring to see guys who have been their bands for 15-20 years still playing the music they love and doing their thing with no motivation of money or cool points or whatever...if you have long hair and/or tattoos in Japan, you are a total dirt and in most cases you'll have a hard time finding a job, spouse or even an apartment. It was really amazing to see all these bands, whether they were hardcore, thrash or 70's psych, just totally destroy and for all the right reasons. Fucking lifers. Phil from Red Cobalt did a great job with setting up the tour and we can't thank him and Reika (#1 driver in Japan!!!) enough. The Japanese version of Into Abaddon is available now...new artwork by Derrick Snodgrass, LP, CD, and two posters all in one package, limited to 500. Pick one up HERE.

We entered Sharkbite Studios in Oakland with master of heaviness Billy Anderson to record a BLUE OYSTER CULT cover with Scott "Wino" Weinrich (SAINT VITUS, SHRINEBUILDER, THE OBSESSED) on vocals and guitar. It came out awesome and its still pretty surreal to us that it even exists. We were geeking out with Wino last fall on the Vitus east coast dates about BOC and we drunkenly talked about collaborating on a cover of "Hot Rails to Hell". It was one of those things we never really expected to materialize but somehow when the awesome SHRINEBUILDER came through the Bay Area it all came together. It will be on a future EP...more details on that later. Anyone in Columbus,OH for Scion Rock Fest on March 13 got to see us play it live with Wino too Pretty fucking killer and not sure when that might happen again, if ever!

Even though we told ourselves we were gonna chill out a bit on touring in 2010, here are a bunch of dates. Hope to see old and new friends out. We'll have records, new shirts, blacklight posters and other weird shit available for sale or trade as always.

A bunch of stuff happenin'....

We've been back from Europe for a month or so, getting ready to record and stuff and not really paying much attention to the internet. Thanks a ton to everyone involved in the Europe tour. It ruled.

We're done with tracking and are now mixing our new album with Phil Manley at Lucky Cat in San Francisco. It is sounding rad. Release date is October 13, 2009. More info later.

On June 23rd Kemado released three 7" EPs. Four new songs and two covers from our demo sessions with Scott Ecklein in Oakland in April. Killer art by Tim Lehi and some cool extra shit comes with each one. Details...
